mexican designers ignacio cadena and hector esrawe, have collaborated to create an organic shaped bottle for perfume brand xinú. the dome-shaped object draws upon natural geometric patterns found within nature, in the form of an elegant blown glass container and contrasting wooden top.
cadena+asociados and esrawe studio worked with nouvel studio to develop and produce the minimal object. in addition, both designers also worked on the xinú showroom, by creating a naturalist’s table decorated with glass objects, stones, wood, resins and brass instruments.
housed within a small structure between two gardens, the exhibit showcases the individual perfume bottles amongst a visual feast of complex mechanisms. the display unfolds an intimate universe that reveals the botanic spirit of xinú, while achieving a harmonious balance between tradition and contemporary influence.
